The Whisper can be ordered with a coiled tube style earpiece. This provides great comfort and the ability to use custom and semi-custom earmolds. Another option is the comfortable "earhook" style earpiece which we suggest if the unit will have multiple users.

The Whisper VX is a top quality Throat Mic at an economy price. The VX is for VOX or voice activation. The voice activation circuitry IS NOT built in to the Whisper VX, rather it has a lockout switch to disable the push to talk button when used with the existing VOX function on your radio. The Whisper VX is available in an earhook arrangement or with an acoustic coiled tube (additional $6.00) for comfort and covert use.
