This earpiece is the perfect choice for Uniformed or Plain Clothes Police Work. The coiled cord at the bottom is long enough you can run this down your sleeve or to your lapel. Most officers wear the entire unit under their shirt with the Speaker clipped to the back of the vest and the microphone PTT clipped to the front of the vest. A more simple brother to the Centurion for Police and Security Work, the Sentinel is an exceptionally durable, lightweight replacement for the old fashioned shoulder mic. The Sentinel features less wire than traditional 2-wire kits, one wire leaves the radio and runs to a microphone push-to talk unit; the earpiece wire attaches at the microphone/push to talk unit near the lapel. The second wire runs under the shoulder to the back of the neck.
The audio quality for the Sentinel Law Enforcement Earpiece is excellent and works well in a variety of conditions. The Sentinel features a large PTT that can be found easily in the most difficult circumstances.

Cipher is a great solution when discretion is a must. Cipher is a three-wire kit because three wires separate from a strain relief box. The first goes to a discreet clear coiled tube earpiece which is difficult to see and easily hidden by hair and collar. The second wire goes to a small microphone with a clothing pin which is pinned to the shirt near the lapel. This microphone is sensitive enough to pick up your voice through clothing and omni-directional so it can pick up other parties involved in the conversation. The third wire goes to a discreet finger Push-To-Talk which may be worn with Velcro™ around the finger or even in your pocket or on a belt loop.
The Cipher is a coiled tube type earpiece. It can be worn in comfort for hours and there are a large number of options to customize the piece to fit your needs. Law Enforcement officials generally want a custom or semi-custom skeleton style earmold. Skeletons are exceptionally comfortable even for a twelve hour shift. The skeleton style allows the user to maintain situational awareness because the ear canal is not blocked; you can still hear 360° around you.
