The Whisper VX is a top quality Throat Mic at an economy price. The VX is for VOX or voice activation. The voice activation circuitry IS NOT built in to the Whisper VX, rather it has a lockout switch to disaqble the push to talk button when used with the existing VOX funcation on your radio. The Whisper VX is available in an earhook arrangement or with an accoustic coiled tube (additional $5.95) for comfort and covert use.
