"As a dental office manager it is important to keep abreast of what's going on with patients and staff at all times. These radios are the best thing ever! Not only do they work well but they are comfortable to wear. I have left the office many times still wearing my radio and headset! Thanks for providing superior customer service as well as an excellent product!"

Our custom earpieces always start with an impression. The impression is only the first step in the process of making a custom mold. These impressions are used to make a finished earmold. Generally it is best to order your impression kit and earmold at the same time; this way, we can fill out the order form for the custom mold and provide a prepaid return box. It also saves on shipping and handling because we will only charge you for this once if you order the earmold and impression kit together. The impression allows us to guarantee fit and comfort. An impression is a silicone copy of the inside and helix areas of your ear. The earpiece you receive will be an exact fit to the shape of your ear. The impression is made by first blocking your ear canal with a foam block. Next, a quick drying, non-sticking, hypo-allergenic, medical grade silicone material is injected into the ear. After about five minutes drying time, the impression is removed from your ear. The process is simple and painless. If you are not confident you can do this yourself, many audiologists and hearing aid dealers will do this for you. Their charges range from $12 to $45.
- Economy Syringe
- 2 small, 2 medium and 2 large foam "ottoblocks"
- Impression material for two impressions.
- Step-by-Step Instructions for taking your impressions.

The directions were easy to use though it took me 2 tries to get a good impression of one ear.
Be quick once you've mixed and have someone on hand to help!

Impression part was easy - trying to get the right earpiece ordered was more difficult than it needed to be

Received, one of the sets of impression materials had popped open during transit and was partially cured/dried out. Ended up having to order impression material elsewhere.

Upon attempting the impression mold, the mold hardened within seconds before I could get it in the tube he first time and halfway out the tube the second time. All instructions were followed but there is clearly an issue with curing time. I would like to try the mold again hoping I got a bad batch to make a custom earpiece, however frown at spending 27 dollars again if the material is faulty.
Please send a mold that I can use to order my earpiece.

I followed the instructions to a tee but the product hardened before I could use it.

I was quite pleased with the impression Kit . However, I only got impression material for two impressions , not three as advertised.

It's always fun to walk our customers through the Earpiece Injection Kit portion of the process. As I'm explaining the procedure, their faces betray how they really feel about it. I can see them questioning the decision to co custom.
But, as always, in the end, their amazed at how comfortable the earpiece is, and would do it again without hesitation.
