This earpiece is the perfect choice for Uniformed or Plain Clothes Police Work. The coiled cord at the bottom is long enough you can run this down your sleeve or to your lapel. Most officers wear the entire unit under their shirt with the Speaker clipped to the back of the vest and the microphone/push-to-talk clipped to the front of the vest. The unique Centurion flat PTT/mic with a large button makes it so you can hit the button rather than having to grasp the entire unit. A safe reliable way to communicate in stressful situations, while keeping your focus on your environment.

The Sentinel features less wire than other 2-wire kits. One wire leaves the radio and runs to a microphone push-to talk unit; the earpiece wire attaches at the microphone/push to talk unit near the lapel and runs under the shoulder to the back of the neck. The audio quality for the Sentinel High Noise Earpiece is excellent in extreme sound pressures.

The Sentinel features a large PTT which lies flat; this means it is easy to find and that you can simply push on it rather than having to grab the entire PTT unit. A step saved you'll be thankful for when your hand and your mind are engaged by an unruly guest! With this earpiece you can talk into your radio at a conversational tone and have crystal clear communication even if you can't hear yourself talk. After going through ear piece after earpiece at the local outdoor store, I finally came across these while doing a search. I started out with just a few testers for my staff and they love them! Not one issue with them, they are durable, clear sounding and just what I needed!

I have used this product for the past 11 years. I personally think it should be issued equipment for all LEOs. We work State Fairs and concerts as well as everyday duties and I never miss a transmission. Great product.
